Since The Idea of You dropped on Amazon Prime Video, actor Nicholas Galitzine has discussed the possibility of holding an August Moon reunion concert in real life.
In the 2024 romantic comedy film that starred Galitzine and Anne Hathaway, Galitzine's character, Hayes Campbell, is part of a boy band, August Moon, that fans claim mirrors One Direction.
As fanfare around the film builds up online, audiences wonder whether a real-life August Moon reunion concert would be possible.
Nicholas Galitzine Reveals The Future of A Possible August Moon Concert
Speaking to Backstage magazine, Galitzine was unsure whether fans could see an August Moon concert in real life.
"My boys don't sing, and I don't dance very well," he revealed about the fictional August Moon group.
In the film, Galitzine recorded some music for August Moon, along with actors Raymond Cham Jr., Viktor White, Dakota Adan, and Jaiden Anthony. However, the 29-year-old actor revealed that he was the only group member who lent vocals for the music used in the film.
"So I'd say we're a little bit against it in that respect. That said, it isn't a definite no. Any opportunity to hang out with the lads again, I'd jump at it," he revealed.
Galitzine has since brushed off comparisons that his character largely referenced former One Direction member Harry Styles in the film.
Access Hollywood asked Galitzine if he drew inspiration from the Grammy-winning singer, but he maintains that the description in the script was more than enough.
"I think the script was so wonderful, and really, there wasn't any need for any other sort of outside references," he explained. "It seems to all be there in the script."

'The Idea of You' Music Supervisors Fused Boybands To Create August Moon
Speaking to Variety, The Idea of You music supervisor Frank Pine shared that they mixed boy bands like NSYNC, BTS, and One Direction to form August Moon.
"We wanted to make this band feel approachable. We purposefully didn't dress them in flashy clothes. We looked at the way One Direction, NSYNC, BTS presented themselves at different points of their careers to create a conglomeration of all of these legendary boybands," he shared.
